Schapendus

Chapendois needs socialization and obedience training. Training should be quite strict and consistent, since this dog does not tolerate harshness and requires respect for itself. This breed is distinguished by intelligence and courage, and the Chapendua is also very jumpy. The Dutch Shepherd is a working breed, and therefore withstands any whims of the weather. It is only very recently that this breed has been bred as a pet, and not to help with herding sheep. Schapendus is loyal and devoted to its master. He is hardy, strong, smart and tireless. Weight: 15 - 15 kg. Height at the withers: 41 - 51 cm. Life expectancy: 10 - 11 years.
