An intelligent and easily trainable Shilon Sheepdog needs a dominant owner and trainer. The training should be very firm, but not brutal or aggressive. This breed requires early socialization and early obedience training. Shilon Sheepdog often successfully competes in various kinds of dog sports. The Shilon Sheepdog fiercely protects its owner and its territory, therefore, competent training is extremely necessary for it. Despite the fact that this dog is a wonderful companion it should not be started by an inexperienced dog breeder. Weight: 45 - 73 kg. Height at the withers: 71 - 76 cm. Life expectancy: 9 - 14 years.
