Early socialization and early obedience training is recommended to McNab. The trainer of this dog must be patient, fair and firm. McNab is smart and eager to please his handler, however he will not respond to harsh teaching methods. McNab is well mannered, reliable and friendly. This dog is a loyal companion who is strongly attached to one of the family members. McNab is suspicious of strangers and stray animals, but extremely sensitive to his family and their property.
