The Doberman Pinscher is easy to train, but requires an active dominant owner. To prevent such vices as shyness, timidity or aggression, it is imperative to socialize the dog early and adequately. Do not use harsh or arbitrary methods. The best results can be achieved by applying positive reinforcement, firmness, fairness, consistency, and respect for the dog. The Doberman Pinscher is especially good at disciplines such as obedience, search and rescue, police work, and canistherapy. Weight: 30 - 41 kg. Height at the withers: 61 - 71 cm.
