The Cirneco Del Etna is an intelligent, dominant dog breed that requires early and intense socialization and obedience training. Rough or arbitrary methods in dealing with this dog will be completely ineffective. Training must be conducted with firmness, fairness, patience and consistency. This is an affectionate, loyal, and lively dog that can become a true friend. She gets along well with children and other pets with whom they grew up in the same house since puppyhood.
