Catahula Bulldog

The Catahul Bulldog is a strong and balanced dog, a truly multifunctional animal used as a hunting and herding dog, as a guard of a person and his property, and is also kept as an obedient and affectionate pet. It was this breed of dogs that combined the qualities that cattle breeders expected: endurance, speed, instinct to hunt, aggressiveness. Needs timely socialization. This bulldog must be trained with adequate firmness, however it is recommended that excessive brutality be avoided at all costs. This breed works best when mild rewards and tasty treats are used as motivation. Weight: 34 - 45.3 kg. Height at withers: 55 - 66 cm. Life expectancy: 12 - 15 years.
