Belgian Groenendael

The Groenendael is the most popular of the 4 Belgian Shepherd Dogs. It is a very intelligent and obedient dog, grasping everything on the fly and possessing strong protective and territorial instincts. Groenendael requires early socialization, a general obedience course, and an experienced but not overly oppressive owner. If you want to subdue this dog with the help of rudeness or cruelty, you cannot agree with him, you just need to establish clear and understandable rules for this dog. This is a very energetic and active breed, so the Belgian Groenendael must always be busy with some kind of work. Weight: 27 - 30 kg. Height at withers: 56 - 66 cm. Life expectancy: 12 - 15 years.
